O organizacji

The Bonsai Working Group Hamburg and Surrounding Area was founded in 2007 and brings together bonsai enthusiasts from Hamburg and the surrounding region. The focus is on working with their own trees, sharing knowledge and experience, and learning from one another. Both beginners and experienced bonsai artists are welcome, united by a friendly and open atmosphere and a shared passion for bonsai.

A special bonsai exhibition in Hamburg dedicated entirely to small-format bonsai. Presented in the Teepavillon at Große Wallanlagen, the exhibition features bonsai up to 40 cm in height and offers visitors a look at trees in different stages of development, from younger specimens to mature compositions shaped over many years. Around 100 square metres of exhibition space will highlight the character, craftsmanship and evolving history of these miniature trees.
